Aruba's Natural Bridge - 14 Jan 2024 - Part 3

The next stop was the Natural Bridge. The original one was destroyed during Hurricane Ivan. Thankfully there was one right next to it. Aruba has several.

There was a nice little gift shop, snack bar and bathroom here.

Jamie was so confused about why we were stopping if the bridge was destroyed. It wasn't until we walked up to edge that she realized there was another one.

You are able to walk over the bridge, just ignore the signs telling you it could collapse. The other bridge is/was about the 3:oo mark of the picture above. Does that make sense? It was close anyway.

This is the natural bridge that Ivan blew down. Still pretty cool.

We even got to meet some natives.

This was so creepy to me. All these stacked rocks all over the place. It was just bizarre. I was picturing UFOs and expecting a little green alien to pop up.

Please see part 4 for the next stop.

Here's our route so far.
